Enoli catch

So something happened yesterday and today and I just feel like I should blog it. The cat came scurrying in with something in her mouth. She’s nine years old it’s the other cat who is younger that I would expect to do this. The first thing I did was check to be sure that it wasn’t a chipmunk. It wasn’t.

So what was this in her mouth, not a bunch of leaves? Now before I was smart, I called it a lizard and most lizards were always named Lizzie but this one is really an Enoli and it’s gonna need a different name but let me tell you the story first.

The first thing I did as she was rushing in with something in her mouth was close the sunroom door. This was not going into the house if I could help it. She got it under a rug and clipped its tail. More running around, she released the animal now it’s free! [ laughing here, tongue, and cheek] Now we’re both on the hunt for it so of course it went behind the bookcase, which of course, don’t tell anyone know this, but needed massive dusting anyway and so I cleared off some of the books so that she could get back there and see about this thing. Good luck, Kat.

Long story short, she did not find it, but we know the laws of physics, it would turn up.

And it did today and here’s a picture of it. Evidently Lizzie or Noli or whatever your name is that we have not yet decided found the plants very relaxing so within 12 hours we find it on the plant, so what do I do? I pick up the plant and I put it outside. Should be the end of the story right?

notice Noli’s tail….

It’s not the end because now Noli is basking on the plant, on the table of the patio, with two cats circling and all she can do is just change her colors depending on what the sun is doing and what the plant is doing and you know what I’m doing; snapping all these shots.

Happy Sunday everyone!
