Bend and Soften
Brains, Advocates, vacations Hearts that mend When we bend and soften Get to the loft or you’ll be lost Hold on fast and don’t be chaste The time is now for single wow Make your vow and allow This who wish to be a dish And insist on a new creation A stair step to higher ground That will turn your frown With utmost care and to be fair You may need another lair Or just six more layers Blocks and chains and thistle To wet your glorious whistle With steep brewed coffee And comfort sweet heath toffee Get the walls up. The foundation is laid. The colors in spade…

What are the Odds? – Poem and Reading
“What are the Odd’s?” It’s not fodder Don’t listen to the old tapes It’s time to scrape them out Once the [blue] spot is spotted Get out the broom before The loon’s set in To tell their opinion Spinning, Spinning to circle back To old tapes, new vibe If you let them “But what if they world was different?” “How do we set our imaginations to see?” Can we follow the bees To the hive where the secrets are kept? Have you slept through the lessons Of Science? The price of their lives Is ours and vice versa. Water the people so they will know. Fire, wind, rain, [drought] Time…

Experiment – Harp – Listen and comment
It’s a lyre 10 string…and it’s tin sounding because it’s not the best mic… but. It’s what gina’s doing tonight. I’ll move to the other room next time or drag equipment in. Give a yell if you like it.

How did your week go? LIVE SHOWS !!!
In between projects, I’ve been seeing a few shows… What a privilege to get out of the house and be with people. I’m still trying to navigate Mask rules. When you aren’t with a drink in your hand, wear the thing! But I shook hands and threatened to hug folks this week… Darlin’ Cory Songs at Colony Square September 7, 2021 Opening Night: Darlin’ Cory September 8, 2021 Alliance Theatre This production was absolutely spectacular! The songs are catchy. I sure hope that more of them will be released. These singers are amazing! The reverb in the theatre walls translates as one voice. The gorgeous beige swirling balcony art was…

Repost: A little lesson on Spam
Posted on November 15, 2012 by reginaholt This is a partial quote from the spam comment folder from a couple of days that caught my eye. …but I am not sure that your terrific job is clearly identified. I did a double take. Criticism goes to the spam folder now? HA! The words were so strange to me that I had to read it a couple of times to really let that sink in. On the third time I noticed that what it REALLY said was: …but I am sure that your terrific job is clearly identified. Ok NOW it sounds a lot more like spam. I inserted <not> into the sentence. This is only…

Baby Hearts
Baby heart crystals Accurate hand movement The wisdom of an owl Three licks and keeps on ticking Bad people drive good people All the time All the time Energy be mine or thine Let it flow and don’t hold back You belong to the night No matter what day You’ll find your way But only if you don’t stay Healthy timing is not all around you Go within to find the sin Bring it out into the open Bring it to a friend The balm is broken No spells will give it You have to live it.

Skip Daily – (Not a typo)
SHIP daily it says Hot or cold or cold or hot Never in the middle The dots and lines sync up They sync up for love Common wants and passions. The work gets easy The genre is a lever, not a box. Use your tools Don’t be a fool To the easy way out. No plow is needed Drop the weeds To sheet compost The best ideas. They come from dears Cat snuggles And warmed tea mug hands At the keyboard Not being bored Looking to score The next practice high.
