In a true bee hive, the queen is the priority. In her leading, the bees are the priority. She must put forth all she has to keep the hive growing and healthy. This means an attitude of humility and sacrifice too. Make babies, make food, make a house. These sound familiar? A human family unit might be similar, though not the same. Are their two queen bees? The seed emails are telling me that now is the time for another round of seed sowing. To do so now will give a 2nd harvest before the frosts come. It’s possible that Fall seeds could be used but with all of the hot weather, what if it’s another round of Tomato plants? The cool weather plants still should wait but the tomatos and zuccini could have another go. Did the vine borers get your first round of squash? Now you could do it again. What is surface area anyway? If Ice cubes take a long time to melt and you need it to go quicker, one way is to make them ice chips. There is more surface area for the ice to become water. Another important thing to keep in mind about that surface area is that there is space involved. If this is say, Ice cubes and shaved ice, it might not be a quick melt down because shaved ice is usually packed together with less space than ice cubes.
