What are you doing when you go on a Hike? Sure, your feet are moving. What else? Are you talking to a hiking friend? If you are, you aren’t on steep enough hill. You both should be winded enough that it takes effort to speak. When that’s the case, there is a moment to just be with the outdoors, with your breath, and working with a rhythm that could be disguised with another task. “How long does it take to get there?” “An hour.” “But it’s not that far!” “If you travel as the crow flies, you are right. But you have to follow the paved roads.” Are you going to follow the paved roads? What if we technology advancements where we didn’t need roads? Some mobile vehicle that hovers over air would work nicely. I even made a joke about it on social media that this black motorbike hovering machine could be the next best thing to a witch’s broom. If you put a plain wooden stake in the ground, then so be it. If you color the marker and then put it in the ground, it’s possible that the marker, this stake in the ground that you have added, will be seen by others. They may even hold you accountable to what happens even if it is something that is after the fact.
