Try this iphone geek crafty folk!

Well, you knew it…I’ve been telling you in subtle and not so subtle ways that I’m a soap geek.

Not only for soap!

I had to stop everything and find cardstock when I happened upon this CRAFT: blog post in my reader.  A do it yourself paper iphone dock?? I’m there!

I used 11olb card stock for this.  It seemed like it would hold…but as the iphone was gently placed on the newly cut and folded dock, nay. It bends in the back. Then I began to wonder if my iphone case was the culprit. Off the clear case went!

Side note:  I have a clear case that is the same as my husband’s. (Yes we fund AT&T in this family!) To tell them apart, I slide my Dr. Flower Moo minicard just inside the case like this.

With the case off and moo card loose, the idear struck me! On the back of this dock, why not add two Dr. Flower moo minicards?

Here’s the results! Voila! One Happy Soap Geek!

Note: I did have to trim each moo minicard a smidge so they were the same length as the dock.

…now if I just had that soap recipe calculator that Ms. Soapqueen has been teasing us with snap shots on twitter….SOON! 😛 Anne-Marie! You know you want one of these! (pauses now wondering if she already does??!  Somehow I bet she’ll pipe in if she does!)

Do you want one? Skip on over to the Craft: blog! 😉

Happy Washing!
