New at Dr. Flower: Touch me Jewelweed & Calendula Gentle – Organic Ingredients

I wanted to highlight that our two newest all natural handmade soaps are now available at http://dr-flower.com!
If you read our blog regularly, then you know that we purchased Organic Oils through a soapmakers group order placed through the Georgia Spring Fling. I blogged about it here.
These are some of the first soaps that have been released with the Organic oils! They are 90% organic as you can see from the ingredients listed below.
If you are feeling a little bit itchy this summer or would just like to treat yourself to an all natural soap, consider shopping at Dr. Flower. Citrus Blend and Rosemary Rich products have also been reformulated with organic oils. Eventually, our entire handmade soap product line will be converted over. Oils: Organic Sunflower Oil, Sustainable and Organic Palm Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Infused Calendula in Organic Sunflower Oil, Castor Oil, and Organic Shea Butter.
Wild Chamomile Essential Oil – Aromatherapy Grade Essential oil made from the flower essence of a chamomile related to Roman chamomile from Morroco. This scent enhances the natural smell of the infused calendula.
Organic Oatmeal – Soaks up the oils and dirt from your pores and works hand in hand with other botanicals to provide gentle exfoliation
Calendula Flowers – Calendula is the October flower of the month. These flowers serve to exfoliate the skin and adds rich yellow color and texture to the bar. It is no wonder that this herbaceous flower is traditionally used in cold process soap for many years.
All bars are approx. 4oz. regardless of shape.
Oils: Organic Sunflower Oil, Sustainable and Organic Palm Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Infused Jewelweed in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Castor Oil, and Organic Shea Butter.
Rosemary and Lavender Essential Oils – Aromatherapy Grade Essential oils made from the flower essence of Lavender and the leaves of Rosemary. This scent enhances the natural smell of the soap as jewelweed does not give off much smell.
Organic Oatmeal – Soaks up the oils and dirt from your pores and works hand in hand with other botanicals to provide gentle exfoliation
Comfrey root – Comfrey is a member of the Borage and Forget-me-not tribe, Boraginaceae much like Jewelweed. It is the reason this soap is called Touch me Jewelweed since both of these plants are of the same forget-me-not family. Other common names for this herb are Knitbone. Knitback. Consound. Blackwort. Bruisewort. Slippery Root. Boneset. Yalluc (Saxon). Gum Plant. Consolida.
Ground Thyme – Ground Thyme adds to the natural green color flecks and subtle herbaceous scent in the soap.

Hey Regina – wondering about calendula.
I was given dried calendula flowers when the local health food store closed in January but the shopowner did not know how old the dried flowers were. Do you think I can still use them for something?

What a beautiful product. It is so nice to see a product where a normal person can recognize all the ingredients. Just reading these makes me want to smell this product and go take a shower!
I think you should advertise this to people who want wedding favors. This is a great gift, especially for someone you care about. (Also, I love the packaging)!
