Tag Clouds, Snapshot Of Your Theme Message?

Tags are usually single words and are typically listed alphabetically, and the importance of a tag is shown with font size or color.[1] This Tag Cloud is from Twittersheep.com and I think the basis is about the keywords in the bio’s of your twitter followers. I liked the key words that I saw in mine! How diverse is your tag cloud?  Does it convey in a key word snap…

Rosemary Bush Trimming – Follow up on How to cut Rosemary

I always post a link to my blog post on twitter which then feeds to facebook. My last post was “How to clip Rosemary“.  On twitter, a friend asked this question: @Margaret_3: How do you prune rosemary?. I have a bush that needs re-shaping. Can I really cut it back to the woody part? My answer in 140 characters: The rule of thumb is to cut back no more than 1/3 of the leaves at one time. Trim now, add to calender to trim in 1 mo. Since I have a bit more room than 140 characters, I’ll qualify what I said.  The rule of thumb is really cut back…

Green Drink:Fresh Appletini, worth the trouble?

If you follow me on twitter, then you know that I got a Jack La Lane Power Juicer for Christmas… Psstt It was really given to my husband!  He pulled the goodie out of the box, cleaned it, set it up on the kitchen counter, and said “fix me a drink woman”! *laughin’*  That’s not exactly how it went because as he was inspiring the possibilities, he was really looking at our daughter too! We did some experimenting with different recipes in the book that came with the juicer.  Most turned out quite nice! Cooking with tea – Life Chef class

Hey there! If you follow me on twitter, then you know that on Saturday I went to an amazing cooking class at Sevananda Natural Foods Co-Op taught by Life Chef (Asata) called cooking with herbs and tea. Asata (pronounced As-ah-tah) created some amazingly healthy dishes that promoted the flavors of tea in different forms.  She gave us a hand out chock full of facts about tea and how to brew it. She gave us a copy of the latest tasteforlife magazine that…

Pointing out a few twitter garden posts that are worthy!

Here are a few posts that I thought were important to point out in more than one place. (twitter) drflower post: You’ve just boiled some veggies on the stove & have a pot full of water left. Don’t pour it down the drain, use it to water plants! (cooled) drflower post: Nutrients from foods like pasta and veggies will serve your house plants well, giving them added vitamins instead of your drain. drflower post: I water my plants with leftover coffee sometimes (black) – and old green tea. both are acidic so little goes long way 🙂 twitter friend post: @drflower what does that do? That sounds harmful to plants…curious…
