Thursday Seeds | Prose to the Hike
What are you doing when you go on a Hike? Sure, your feet are moving. What else? Are you talking to a hiking friend? If you are, you aren’t on steep enough hill. You both should be winded enough that it takes effort to speak. When that’s the case, there is a moment to just be with the outdoors, with your breath, and working with a rhythm that could be disguised with another task. Thursday Seeds | Witch’s Butter
The list of plants that I want to grow. It’s changing and it’s really much the same. Catmint and Saffron Crocus are on the list. They are already in the ground. These others? Tansy is good for repelling a lot of bugs, ticks and fleas being among them. There are other ones that I’d like to grow. On the inside, there are propagations that are going on. Spider plants and pothos are easy ones and as they grow, there is a need to either get more pots and plant or give these lovelies away to others. Thursday Seeds | Data that Samples
Let me preface this post with an important point: I’m not a data scientist. I do have training in systems and processes in my industrial engineering back ground. The beauty of this is that I have a different view point than many classically trained scientists. They could look at my article and scoff their heads off. To each their own.
