Do You Find Poetry Or Does It Find You?
Are you a pack rat? I might have a few of those tendencies. I try hard to keep my spaces clear of cluttered stuff but let’s face it, it’s an ongoing battle. It ebbs and flows like many other things in life. I’m pretty sure that stress levels are a direct proportion. I come by this character trait honest. My mother is the queen of pack ratness. Poverty: It's blog action day 2008!
Caution! Ramble in progress! What do I know about poverty? Very little actually. I’ve been very blessed in this life. I know Bono from U2, Bob Geldof and all the others that organized LIVE Aid. Live Aid was a multi-venue rock music concert held on July 13, 1985. It was a wonderful awareness campaign that actually worked! Thanks to those that worked hard in that organization and the paths and doors that have opened since then for Africa. (it’s still only a drop in the bucket.) In Rememberance…9-11
Today is a day to remember in our Country’s history. I wish it had never happened. There are many events and actions after it that I wish had never happened. With all that said, we are on this path and we can’t go back and change the past. How do the events mold you? 9-11 was a tragic act of hate. And though I am human and falter, I will always want to respond with love. I have: Love of those that have had to carry on without loved ones, regardless of country Respect for our armed forces that continue to respond to keep us safe Faith that our world…
