Tis the season…that poison ivy blooms!
As summer winds down and the kids go back to school, there are changes also happening in the backyard. The fall blooming plants are beginning to do their thing. Some of this is good….some of this is bad! Perhaps not as bad if you know how to identify it. In the past, I’ve blogged about how to identify poison ivy in your yard. Feeling that scratchy in your throat? What do you drink?
Wow! It’s been almost a decade ago when I traveled pretty regularly to the Netherlands for work. In my time there, I found that Irish pubs seemed to help cure the homesickness that comes with an extended stay abroad. With the jetlag and candle burning at both ends due to work, (teehee! …now I MAKE the candles and burn them at my leisure!) it was easy to develop a scratchy throat from being run down.
