    As an avid organic gardener, I love to shop for compost pails! Yep, I come by that garden geek title quite honestly! Compost pails come in several sizes and really many colors also. Copper, stainless steel,  plastic in any color of the rainbow, ceramics, and sometimes a combination of these. Why you can even get eco-friendly with a bamboo model! MEOW! even Purple! Google will let you search images by color now!     Pointing out a few twitter garden posts that are worthy!

    Here are a few posts that I thought were important to point out in more than one place. (twitter) drflower post: You’ve just boiled some veggies on the stove & have a pot full of water left. Don’t pour it down the drain, use it to water plants!     Composting! It's not as hard as you think!

    If you have followed anything related to gardening or green environmental news, composting is one of those things that you can do along the lines of “think globally and act locally”.  I can understand that some folk might be a bit intimidated by trying to compost. I’ve been reading on organic gardening boards how you really shouldn’t till your garden dirt and composting should be done right there among the plants in a “sheet composting” manner.  Sometimes the idea of dumping my scraps directly in the garden just doesn’t get me excited!  If the dirt really cooks, It makes great soil that is disease free.  I’ve used my own compost…
