Thursday Seeds | The October Ball
The Ball beginning: So much to remember and go back through from the evening. This was something to unpack, there were feelings of excitement and a vibe not seen in a dance club since the old days at the mill. The lighting was similar. The walls are not stone but dark and the lights are strobed into colors and blue. The music was fantastic and the costumes were an adventure to look at. Makeup and dresses, kilts and tresses. The Green Princess
It was an interesting time. I loved the soup! It was Pho, vietnamese but with a french twist. Very fresh vegetables and the atmosphere did have a decidedly European way of it. It might have been the lighting, bright and airy for January or it might have been the mirrors that added to it all. Regardless, upon walking into a crowded dining room, we were seated where a toddler could sit with her mom. This is an important point of the experience, I soon find out.
