Tree Reflections
I was mad. It was beyond my control. I made it known, somewhat politely and then I ran to self medication; a nice long walk in nature. Here are a few of the snaps. It worked by the way. I was calmer upon return and able to get some work done after. – Some days you just need a minute.

Atlanta Botanical Gardens Summer Party July 2022
Hello! I had the pleasure of attending the ABG’s Summer Party this past weekend. I had my camera with me! See what you think of the shots I’ve selected… The orchids were just so beautiful! The dance lessons, the mocktails on the lawn, walking through and visiting the beautiful plants that thrive here. I know it’s hard work keeping things this beautiful in the heat of summer… And then there is the Origami. This one featured, Carried Away, is tucked away in the flora. And while it says don’t touch, every fairy princess wants to! Travel the bridge to this fairy land! Enjoy!

Summer Solstice Hello
I’ve been snapping shots about but not really sharing them. Today these shots are a Midsummer’s night version of progress around here. The family gets bigger on Saturday and the kids will visit for the weekend. Who knows, maybe the Scottish nerd and the Italian will find a way to get along! #KatswillbeKats This is my favorite shot of the day: Here are the other ones:

Outside air, Big Trees
Spring is started here… All those projects that require cooler weather, your priority just got moved up! These are the days. I feel energy returning and thrive is on the way with the spring time air. Our world has been upside down for two years. Much journeyed through, now on to the next! Savannah beckons. That backyard beckons. Projects that beckon too. More work than time? Maybe not. It’s funny how we think we need to do things and then the wrinkles smooth out and we don’t. There are weddings on the horizon, warm weather and much to look forward to! Live music be mine! And if you dare read…

Season’s change, colors, spiders, and bats
Have you ever tried to snap a flying bat? They are busy eating bugs. I hope they eat all the mosquitos out there! Mostly it’s a blur and you just snap through hoping that one of the images might reveal that speck in the sky… I think I did ok with this one though it’ll take a zoom in to be sure… Just a little note on these pictures. I shoot high res but i’m not posting them here in that resolution. Why? So they stay mine. If you are interested in higher res photos, just shoot me a note. The internet is a crazy place.

Fall spider setting up shop…
Teach me how to spin, amazing one. If I can weave a story like you spin your web, then the laundry list of ideas in my head have a grand place to be. They could air out and become something worth keeping like sturdy vintage outfits to be scene from 360 degrees of point of view angles. Poor fly, you are lunch! Did you see the beauty of this art spin? What is not in the picture are the three fortified lines that serve as the foundation of this web. Two above on the gutter and one that runs almost horizontal at the edge of the patio. They are what…
