Repost: A little lesson on Spam
Posted on November 15, 2012 by reginaholt This is a partial quote from the spam comment folder from a couple of days that caught my eye. …but I am not sure that your terrific job is clearly identified. I did a double take. Criticism goes to the spam folder now? HA! The words were so strange to me that I had to read it a couple of times to really let that sink in. On the third time I noticed that what it REALLY said was: …but I am sure that your terrific job is clearly identified. Ok NOW it sounds a lot more like spam. I inserted <not> into the sentence. This is only…

Baby Hearts
Baby heart crystals Accurate hand movement The wisdom of an owl Three licks and keeps on ticking Bad people drive good people All the time All the time Energy be mine or thine Let it flow and don’t hold back You belong to the night No matter what day You’ll find your way But only if you don’t stay Healthy timing is not all around you Go within to find the sin Bring it out into the open Bring it to a friend The balm is broken No spells will give it You have to live it.

Happy Boxing Day, Saint Steven!
While our traditions have been that this is a shopping day where everyone returns or purchases from the Christmas gifts received yesterday, those traditions are beginning to be modified. I say Bravo for that part of the outcome of this year. There are some silver linings to all of this. Take a look of your own happenings, you’ll find them. Here is a little bit about this day.. considered the Second day of Christmastide is traditions that aren’t American. Greek Orthodox traditions still observe it. Also Celtic ones too. Here are a few links: I learned how to pronounce the day in Welsh. (And yes I had to look that…

Skip Daily – (Not a typo)
SHIP daily it says Hot or cold or cold or hot Never in the middle The dots and lines sync up They sync up for love Common wants and passions. The work gets easy The genre is a lever, not a box. Use your tools Don’t be a fool To the easy way out. No plow is needed Drop the weeds To sheet compost The best ideas. They come from dears Cat snuggles And warmed tea mug hands At the keyboard Not being bored Looking to score The next practice high.

Repost: Dark Matter
Dark Matter Posted on February 5, 2013 by reginaholt Here are a few quotes from articles circulating on the World Wide Web. “Dark Matter is … invisible stuff that makes up the majority of the universe.” {I don’t believe that for one minute. It isn’t the majority. It’s a little too broad a bucket, duh, it’s the universe! It’ll be proven, I predict.} “It is the Standard Model of Particles that explains dark matter.” “Its presence is [detected or] inferred based on its gravitational pull.” “Standard model is only part of a wider framework to explain the universe.” “Its some kind of material that has mass but doesn’t interact with light.” There is…

Season’s change, colors, spiders, and bats
Have you ever tried to snap a flying bat? They are busy eating bugs. I hope they eat all the mosquitos out there! Mostly it’s a blur and you just snap through hoping that one of the images might reveal that speck in the sky… I think I did ok with this one though it’ll take a zoom in to be sure… Just a little note on these pictures. I shoot high res but i’m not posting them here in that resolution. Why? So they stay mine. If you are interested in higher res photos, just shoot me a note. The internet is a crazy place.
