Why is homemade pie such a special gift?

It tastes good. REALLY good! It was created special. It’s Not from a production line stamped out for the masses, but just for you! Why? Because YOU are special! You are worth the extra time and effort to come up with the basic ingredients, research a recipe, and commit to the time it takes to create food as art that is homemade pie.
Today I learned from the gal who inspired me to make homemade pie, that the no nonsense lady that inspired her to make homemade pies will be attending our monthly Girls Night Out event in a few weeks.  YaYY!  I’m excited to meet the inspiration agent that begat the inspiration agent that taught me how to make homemade pie!
Did I mention to you that this inspiration agent gal is also the one that signed me up for that handmade soapmaking class ? You know the one! It was the beginning stepping stone that got the flower business wheels turning.  Wouldn’t homemade soap be a neat product to shape a business around?  Yes, I must thank my girlfriend (I do quite often actually) that set me on the path that I’m on.  I know I’m in my journey’s good direction and I’m thankful for homemade pie as much as homemade soap.  Psst…Can’t wait to meet you Marilyn!
