Week 1: Rock Star Farms – CSA Greens
I am so excited! I just got the first week installment of CSA Greens from Rock Star Farms! The greens look absolutely beautiful. See for yourself!

The collards, kale and hearty greens went straight in this kitchen friend–> along with roast, onions, carrots and potatoes. It made a YUMMY dinner!
The lettuces we’ll enjoy for Valentine’s Day. You can tell these lovely greens have not been sitting around in a crate waiting be stacked up in the produce section of the grocery store. There is no “stoopid” tape all around it saying it’s organic nor a sticker with barcode. No Packaging saying its organic to toss in the landfill, just good fresh food!
Are you asking yourself what is a CSA? CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Basically it is the practical side to eating locally by supporting your local farmer. When you sign up for the CSA, you are in a sense pre-purchasing a share in a farm’s productive fresh product. You are also doing huge favors for your family’s health! Want to know more? Here’s some good info.
Can I just say that I ♥ Rock Star Farms CSA? They held 10 openings that have long since been snapped up. If you are interested for the spring version, check for updates here.
Here’s a toast to local food!
Happy Washing!
