Sometimes these topics just come spilling out of me and I don’t understand what they mean until it’s time to write the post.

Somewhere in my head is a sketch but I don’t know where I saw it or even when. How in the world can I search it? If google were that good! (they are… which should scare us all).

Another example of this is a thumbnail graphic attached to an album that my daughter saw. She didn’t remember the name of the group or the song but just that thumbnail. How do you find it? 

Words search goes to the graphics.  Ok, we did find that song, album and it wasn’t EXACTLY like she remembered. I think the image was wrong but the color was right. 

  ” It was blue with a lion on the cover.”

Words search goes to the graphics. You are a photographer. (All of us are now, just look at the instagram and other socials out there with all the pictures documenting our lives.) We timeline our lives. Our memories are tied to them. Dip your fingers into your own photostream, that which no one calls it anymore, and you will be looking for a fragment to help you remember like the location of a photo or a date and time of another photo that was taken before or after what you are looking for.

How do you find this is a graphic rich environment? Maybe it’s a song fragment. Maybe it’s the thought you got when you watched this one Youtube video. And if it came from a book with bindings, glue, paper, you are screwed for sure unless Gutenberg digitized it before all those titles went underground.

LLM is going to be another synonym for it soon. That is the way our culture is change. Are you gonna change with it?  I am.  

What is Language Learning Model anyway? It’s a dictionary with an index or six and also definitions. Because everyone knows that words have more than one definition. How else is AI to learn the context of when to use which definition? 

Never underestimate a macro. Never underestimate a workflow. Never underestimate AI that is dumb. It’s not a bad thing that Siri doesn’t know what you are saying… Just saying.
